This is a new home on the Internet for a website that was originally established in 1998 at the University of New Mexico. About me:  As a grad student at the University of Minnesota, I worked with several first-rate teachers of qualitative research — Steven J. Taylor, Marion Lundy Dobbert, Gary Allen Fine, and Michael Quinn Patton.  They have all written textbooks, and conducted fascinating studies that exemplify the principles they taught.  I pass their legacy along as I am able, and remain grateful for the chance to do so.  Jan Armstrong (edprof), University of New Mexico.
